101VG is a chain designed for occasional use, but it can also be widely used for hobby chainsaws. This chain requires less force than a standard chain to make the same cut.
We recommend the 101VG for electric chainsaws with a maximum 18" (45cm) guidebar or for gasoline engine saws with a maximum of 42cm3 with a 16" (40cm) guidebar.
